Yesterday I was pleased to announce the publication of my very first ebook, The Hapless Rube’s Apocalypse Survival Guide.
After forcing my publicist to purchase and download a copy, I was quite excited to notice a sharp spike in sales. This trend continued throughout the afternoon, and between 1pm and 9pm I had a 400% increase in units sold. Not bad at all!
This trend seems to have slowed over the night time, but I’m sure once I call my publicist and explain to her that I need her to continue buying my ebook or else her precious commissions will start to disappear things will pick back up. Can we expect 400% sales increases every day? Yes. Certainly. I haven’t even asked my mom to buy it a third time, so 400% seems very reasonable.
