By which I mean I came across an article written by someone who has done some real research.
VPNs and VPN services seem to be gaining in popularity. I’m not sure we can fully combat fascism and the destruction of net neutrality by anonymizing our web traffic, but hey, it’s better than nothing.
I even see some of our older customers have VPN services and they may not always be the most sophisticated, “superuser” customers. But they have read about privacy issues and want to work to get some back. Glad people take the time to learn about infosec and privacy.
The more people using VPN technology the better. Even if you have nothing to hide, you’re adding noise to obscure the signals of those who do.
