iOS Voicemail Transcription Fail

iOS 12 has a cool feature that transcribes voicemail messages, with varying degrees of accuracy. This is a nice feature if you don’t want to listen to a voicemail.

I have started getting robo-calls that leave voicemails. I don’t know what the messages are about because they are in what I assume to be Mandarin.

Here is the transcription:

I hope George and Johnson were okay after hatching in the rain.

I suppose it is possible that iOS took the liberty of translating this voicemail, but that would only make it weirder.
